What is a POSH Policy?

The Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (“PoSH Act”) mandates every organisation in India to provide a safe, dignified, and inclusive work environment for women. The Act aims to prevent, prohibit, and redress incidents of sexual harassment at the workplace through clearly defined policies, reporting mechanisms, and redressal procedures.
